After the band was signed up by Beggars Banquet at the begining of the year, I was more than happy to take care of the sleeve artwork for their 7" vinyl single release. I'd seen the band play and was knocked out by their brand of punked up rock n roll, they reminded me of a young New York Dolls.
So when the call came I naturally answered! After speaking with the band, we came up with the direction which was pretty much lead by the song title 'Just Two Girls'. I wanted something simple and stylish, bold and eye catching. I think we got there in the end.
In conjunction with the lovely people over at www.artforurbanspaces.com, I am selling prints and canvas of some of my past illustration work so check it out and get something to cheer up your living room.
Art for Urban Spaces aims to deliver cool urban pieces which encompass original artwork, funky prints and ultra cool furniture. Time to give Ikea a miss and get something a little more unique!
New work will be added as the inspiration comes.
KGB clothing is the first stop for all your T-shirt printing needs. Rock n Roll punk ethic meets Situationist subversion. We print tshirts with images that we like, that means no capitalist sell outs for the sake of a few extra pounds. KGB is a pantheon to the people who matter. You won't find our clothes on the high street, in those watered down style factories that have no substance other than to churn out identical robots for minds.
The past no longer exists, the time is now so make it shine like Sirius.
